The 2nd Annual National Diversity Pre-Law Conference and Law Fair is set for April 10th & 11th in Washington, DC


Diversity in the legal profession will once again be on the agenda during The National Diversity Pre-Law Conference and Law Fair which will take place April 10th and 11th in Washington, DC. The two-day conference will have a variety of panels and workshops which discuss the path to law school, success in law school, as well as how to thrive in the legal profession.

The conference will kick off with attendees being addressed by Sandra S. Yamate, Esq, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Institute for Inclusion in the Legal Profession and Arun Alagappan, Esq., President, Advantage Testing, Inc. Harvard Law student and political organizer Derecka Purnell will also speak on Friday morning.

Other speakers will include past Lawyers of Color/OBABL honorees such as Paula Edgar, President-Elect of the Metropolitan Black Bar Association, NY, and Jomaire Crawford, Associate at Quinn Emanuel.

Admission to the conference is free.
